Hey all..

Hey guys, how are you all doing? It’s been a while, I know. *hangs head*

I went to see Dr. Bone today. He’s an orthopedic surgeon. Yup. ;o)

After the last thyroid test, my vet suggested we go see a neurologist. She thought my problem was maybe neurological or muscle related issue. So we went to see a neurologist last month. He was really nice. And I behaved very well while he poked and pulled and twisted and manipulated my limbs.

He said there was some peripheral neuropathy. But he thinks the problem is more orthopedic than neurological. He recommended physical therapy and an appointment with another orthopedic specialist. ( Not the one who did the surgeries, nope. )

He didn’t think it was DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) but we opted for the test, just to make sure.

The result was back 2 weeks later. I have no DM. *relieved sigh*

So, I saw Dr. Bone today. Actually he was one of two surgeons we saw before the TPLO surgery. I wonder if things would’ve been different If we picked him last year…

Our options are; We can go for surgeries to fuse joint on all 3 legs. And maybe another surgery on the same knee. It’s gonna take about a year to do them all. Prognosis not definitive.

Or we can go for physical therapy.

I prefer the latter.

*woof*
